A little about me
My name is Cecelia Sandoval, I am an actor, poet, freelance makeup artist, and personal growth enthusiast. I am a AMDA BFA LA graduate and I also have my Master's Degree in Humanities and Creative Writing. I have taught scene study at The Identity School of Acting, LA and at Studio24 in Sacramento, CA. I also have vast experience with one on one coaching, script analysis, audition techniques, and have worked with John Frank Levey (Shameless, ER, West Wing) as reader for a casting workshop at Studio 24. It is one of my greatest passions to teach actors how to hone their craft, find their creative voice, and build their personal process. As an actor myself, I understand what you experience artistically, but as a coach I help you bridge the gap with technique and direction that serves you best. My approach to this work is that when you have a process that is built on technique, discipline, and an authenticity, will become free to fully live in the character's experience. Together, we cultivate a safe, ego-less environment that allows you to take risks, learn, and improve with every take.

THE JOURNEY
Whether you need coaching on an audition or want to go back to basics and hone your technique, or you just simply want one on one coaching, I want to help you. Individual sessions will essentially be a scene study class, but I am your reader and coach. I will give you a scene and over 4 weeks, we will cover character development, script analysis, technique, and more. The 3rd and 4th week, will film them like a self-tape, and you will get to compare the performances to track growth. My main focus is to empower you, challenge you, and help you build confidence.
